Camping Notes
Looks like there are a couple campsites near the trailhead. Even though I didn't see any "No Overnight Camping" or "Nighttime Closure" signs, I have heard and read that there is no camping at the trailhead and no soaking in the spring at night. There are plenty of other camping opportunities nearby just off the main road and in Salmon Creek Campground.

Briefings

06.24.04
The short stroll through the lush forest to the warm springs gave way to a nice, cool break from the hot summer weather. We arrived to find a couple and their girlfriend (pictured) enjoying a nice soak and smoke (and a little x-rated fun) in the pool. They were all very friendly and quite chatty as well. We exercised some hot springs etiquette and gave them some time before returning to enjoy a mediocre soak. The scenery however, more than made up for the warm, murky soak. I lost track of time on a few occasions while gazing into the virgin forest.

I damaged my trusty digital camera before this trip so I sadly had to rely on a disposable camera, which yielded to about half of my pictures not being developed on each of the 3 rolls.
